This weekend I was in a National (Portuguese) meeting here in the North (Gafanha da Nazaré -Ílhavo). Dear Piito,
Not sand, much better and harder than only that.  On this same thread, 3 (and 4) posts before you can see it running on synthetic grass and 5 posts before, running on asphalt! Thanks for your comment. Best regards, Carlos |

may i ask what motor you use and how much it cost?? i cant get enough thrust out of mine :/

Thrust Motor:
KB45-10XL 1200kv Brushless Inrunner Batteries - 6S LiPo 5000A. Running time - 3 minutes Motor temperature - 110 Celsius Batteries temperature 65 Celsius Batteries plugs solderings melted P.S. Most of the times, brand new batteries inflate and become useless after one single demo, some times ESC (engine speed controller) 200 Amp becomes useless too... All I can say is Flip!! You must be loaded to be able to buy new batteries every time you run her, and for only 3 mins!
I'm very interested in the thrust fan - what is it, where from? Looks like a giant EDF, but it's far bigger than any I've seen from model suppliers. |
