Designing and building a new wing for 2012
Finally sat down at my CNC and designed a new wing. Kinda funky lookin and a motor on the front. Not sure what it will be named yet although I have a couple ideas. Cant officially name it until it flys.
61" span, Castle Creations motor, Castle ICE 100, 5S Thunder Power 5000 mah lipo. Good for over 200mph pitch speed. Entire plane will be heavy. Maybe 6lbs or so. Lots of spars in it (its very strong already). I'll glass it all today. More to follow. Laine. |

Wing span -61 Root chord -22 Tip chord - 10 Sweep - 17 CG position 20% - 10.75 25% - 11.5 Wing area - 976 MAC distance - 13.34 MAC length - 16.75 |

O.k....
Does'nt look heavy.... Maybe it's because you have'nt put the Winglets on it yet. I'd like to see a small G.I. Joe size figure riding on that hump in the middle like he's holding on to a bucking bronco... I know it will just add drag, but dang... that'd be cool.
