No on the Welders. It will attack the foam on your Beast. I used thick foam safe ca for years. It's weakness is that it's brittle. Switched to Foam-Tac and couldn't be happier! http://www.filadelfosrc.com/index.ph...id=146:foamtac rc

when it comes to the DeoxIT products, which ones are you all using, seems like there's some options...?
DeoxIT® Fader, #F100S-L2 http://store.caig.com/s.nl/it.A/id.1...2&category=293 or DeoxIT® DN5 http://store.caig.com/s.nl/it.A/id.2158/.f |

I've ordered guitars from Sweetwater. I recall one time I called regarding a guitar that had not been release yet, I ended up on the phone with the dude for over 30 minutes talking all things music, he was not rushed, told me it was a great conversation, gave me his direct extension and said call anytime. The direct opposite of what I experience in the hobby industry with the one exception of horizon which has been great.

What are you guys even using the deoxit for? This thread is too long to read the whole thing. I was asking about glue, then out of no where comes deoxit. Confusing, so I assume this is answering an older discussion. I wish they had sub forums for different planes instead of rediculously long threads.

Nice Batts RCBabbel ! This plane is fun now. The only change was
the battery. (Hyp-180 Babbs) I did not set the timer, but flew for 3 1/2 to 4 mins, some coasting around at high- alpha, & some amazing vertical climbs. Cells were reading 3.77 when finished. Couldn`t be happier. Guessed @ the CG, but it was spot on. Flew awesome. Worth the wait. Amazing what a good batt will do. Stock motor, stock prop, RCBabbel custom 2S 180 batt, 20% expo all around, 99% throws all around. Awesome. Thanx Roger, Scott

OUCH! I use a toothpick to apply the foam-tac. It can also be used like a contact cement for fast field repairs. Apply a thin coat to both parts. Wait about 30 sec before assembling. Done. rc ![]() ps...Typo from my PA Addiction b x.

Well! RC! You're quite the genius. Those 3S 180's of yours in the Beast are Nirvana! My TP 250's go like heck, but your 180's float like a butterfly as well as sting like a bee! Thank you. I'm gradually working up my flight times and so far 4 minutes seems good.
