As a side - kind of annoyed that the planes at Burke this weekend was not promoted better. I was down in the flats with my daughter and had plenty of time to head over to Burke had I known. Did see the B-25 fly over the flats.

I am considering attending this this year.
I cannot find much information about recent years. The NEAT web page talks about a new location. Is it a new location for 2012? New flying site, or new campgrounds or both?
What is the camping like?

NEAT is still at the same place , if you get there wednesday or before you can set up a 10x10 canopy and tent behind it , but no water or electric
the campground is ok if you come early enough or you will have a long hike to th flightline
if that is the case you can store some of your stuff in my easy up

Dear NEAT Fair attenedees NEAT Fair Pilot pre-registrations ends Friday Aug 31st. For those of you who have already registered, we thank you. For those of your procrastinators, come on! You know you’re coming! Get out to www.neatfair.org today! For those of you who have signed up but not yet paid, we have extended the payment period to Sept 5th by paypal and checks must be received at our address before this date. Non-payment will result in you being dropped from the pre-reg roster and you will have to pay the higher rate and register at the field. And just a few renminders. 2.4 gig radios only at the Helicopter flight stations. 2.4 gig radios on the pond between 9am and 5pm (any other AMA legal radio band before and after that time)Pond aircraft MUST meet the AMA definition of a park flyer WITH the floats installed! There are no significant changes to the show this year with one exception. Any flightline pit area found not occupied by Friday morning at 9am will be dismantled and given to the next lucky attendee. As we all know, flightline spots are at a premium and we cannot have them go unused for even a short time, especially early on in the show. Only pre-registered pilots will be allowed to set up on the flightline before Thursday morning AND they must be staying on the property somewhere from the time their stuff is dropped on the flightline. There will be NO "drop and go" again this year. Hope to see you there!The NEAT Gang.

Sadly I cant make this years event... but on the happy side, my wife and I will be taking a 2 week trip to Europe during the time frame!!
