I feel better now that I know it didn't stem from a pent-up hatred of me from crashing your Alula into a rent-a-crapper two years ago.

P.S. Just remember "Stormin' Norman" = Storm51. The rest should fall into place. Just don't be underneath it when it does.

Okay there seems to be many different setups people are trying on the 1s,

Has anyone come up with a proven gear list on the 1s that works flawlessly, i.e servo brands, receive and transmitter brands, that just work all together with no issues?

2 pennies worth http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...1826044&page=2 Post 26.

I charge at 1C until auto stop at 4.2 volts. At 4.2 volts the charger simply reduces input amps until zero is reached, thus a fully packed battery. The above is just a data point... no guarantees of course!

I'm flying a mini topsky on 1s just fine, I've put an hour on it so far and I'm putting close to 150mA back in after such a flight. Got my telemetry (XG8) set up to alert me at 3.7v.

And I thought 2 LiFe was simple, good clarity on the controls and no servo issues to report. I'll definitely use this setup on my next bird when the time comes. One word of advice though (For those who may be as dumb as I), make an adapter to a servo plug for your battery so you don't inadvertently plug it in backwards...

My charger seems to sit for a long time at 4.2V and only trickling in the last few MAH. I know it's a CC/CV charger, but it seems to sit much longer than the 2S packs I was using previously.

I'd be nice to be able to charge at 2 or 3C, but the HK website doesn't really specify what the max charge rate on these particular cells are, only that "some" of the nano-tech batteries can be charged at up to 5C.

Is anyone charging these 1200mah Turnigy Nano-tech round cells above 1C?
My bc6 type chargers both take ages to charge the1200mah 1 cells, I actualy found that setting charger to 0.4amps worked out better, any more and the 4.2v is instantly reached and amps go down any way, the connector type will make a difference, but I also charge lifepo4 a123 single cells and they have deans on and still take 25 to 35 mins where as a 2 cell will charger from flat in 10 to 15 no problem! Must be a charger problem rather then a battery one!

Has any one tried these on single cells?
I have put hxt900 in my blaster after having my sd150s all go one after the other and these are faster and digital!
