Magnet Orientation on an old Len'sRC motor

Hello All,
Teaching the Wee Man how to fly, long story short my old GWS Pico Moth ended up in a tree and I am guessing the throttle was open for awhile and heated up the motor resulting in about half of the magnets in the bell coming unglued. I switched out the bell with a known good one and the motors runs fine so the windings seem to be in good shape but I would like to re-glue in all the magnets so I can get the other motor running again.

Are there any good pages that show how the magnets should be orientated?

thanks.

Cheers,
Jim

However, could be that magnets got to hot and weakened because of this. Weake magnets means higher Kv. Motorcurrent is proportional to Kv (and voltage squared) so don't forget to check/measure your current.

Use thick CA glue, and clothespins to clamp the magnets in place.

Ron,
Thanks for the info, I will give it a go and see how it looks. To be honest the motor owes me nothing after literally 1000's of flights and years of service but it I can get her going again that would be great.

Cheers,
Jim
