Hello... I'm new to gas and I picked up this 120 size model Corsair, former electric power, I want to use 2 stroke gas. What size & which make can you suggest and why.

A dle 30cc is perfect!!! If going the cheaper route a rcg 26cc is good as well, I had one on mine.

A friend steered me onto an EVO 30cc motor with rear carburetor. Is this what you are talking about? Will it be powerful enough to get out of trouble in a stall or such? Thank you for your help

Well my 26cc was way more than enough. A friend at my club said to me "that plane has way too much power" when he was watching me fly it!

+1. on the DLE30 or RCGF26. I have the 26cc sitting waiting for an airframe and this one is high on the list. Only bad thing I have heard about the RCGF 26 is the ignitions are junk. Of course I hear this AFTER I bought the engine. If it turns out to be true then I'll get an rcexl and swap it out. A few of the guys at the club are running the engine in larger heavier planes though with power to spare.
That being said, if I didn't already have the 26cc and I ran into the airframe I would get the DLE30. As long as you use a 4.8v ignition pack on them they are fine.

Sorry I didn't see the replies here, thank you for your input... Turns out the 30cc is actually The EVO 35GT. It looks a bit large. Although I could fit it mostly in the cowl, head hanging out a bit. ???

and it was doing 80mph .

That sounds good. I hear nothing but good stuff about the Zenoah engines. This project got bumped back one or two but the good news is I found a good deal on the DLE 30 and bought one for it... So now, I am collecting parts for this electric to gas conversion.
