Looks great. Very nice work. That prop looks like it belongs on the model, who makes it?

getting into it too

I ordered one, should be here in couple days. Ive read 1/4 way through this thread and the last 20 pages. I wanted something just a bit smaller than my CarbonZCub thinking I could fly it in my yard(big farm yard) haven't dared fly my CZC here yet. I fly it across the road a ways so have to haul it, not bad in summer but off skis i'd rather be close to a warm place.
I had the CJ models 11in. on CZC and worked alright but a little small if snow got too deep, so along with the Beaver I ordered 15in. and will put 11in. on Beaver.Too much? weight 186gr.
I am not a modeller like most of you on here, but do build some practical things usually not too purdy. but I sure can appreciate what many have done. Anyways thanks to all that have posted for the good info. When I see my Beaver I may need some advice. Wish someone could index this thread hint
Oh I guess Im almost 3/4 way , just a little more reading

I got the prop from one of the guys I fly with. I don't know what it from but it has the right watts and amps for the plane. It's giving me 720 watts and 45 amps.

I have just started my beaver build, and have yet to Epoxy the wing.

If anyone needs spar pictures or dimensions, please PM me

Make sure that you remove the covering on the root ribs and use epoxy on both ribs. Have alcohol ready to clean up what squeezes out, If it doesn't squeeze out you didn't use enough.

Thanks Dennis, will do.

Will be a bit as I am waiting for my lighting kit to arrive, and I want to install that prior to the wings being installed.

As I progress on my build, reading forward in the manual it indicated that the rudder and elevator are to be attached by wicking in thin CA from the side. I am a little surprised by that as I was assuming I would use epoxy.

Any thoughts on this, is CA strong enough, not to brittle, would epoxy add too much weight?
