Maxford made my day with this one! Truly one of the most eclectic warbirds of all time. One of my all time favorites! Anybody have any thoughts? Brutus

it does look the goods, if only it wasn't so glossy, it will need a good dose of clear coat satin finish to get rid of the shine. great to see maxford keeps bringing out something other than the norm!

I hope that it sells well for them , more WW1 planes are always needed

I have the Mike Midkiff plans for the freeflight version that I plan on enlarging for electric R/C.

Found some video of the Maxford W. 29 on Youtube. Looks like it flies nice but the W. 29 is a little to odd looking for me. If we're talking WW1 float planes then I like the Zeppelin-Lindau CS-1. Another oddball. I have the Mike Midkiff/Ozark Model Aviation plans for the CS-1.

Its an oddball for sure but its got some class also.In general WW1 warbirds of any type are pretty interesting subjects. Brutus

spot on mate, the best thing about them is they fly slow enough for you to actually admire the look of them as they fly past, also they are one of the few models that can be built to replicate the full size with construction methods and materials. i love em!

I am slowly working on one that i bought at the wram show back in feb. It was the display so i think i got the first one a month early. Will also be painting and weathering it. I havent seen any discussion about it anywhere yet. Hopefully it will be able to fly slow enough for small pond flying.

Any updates? I just bought their Curtis Jenny 50" version for my latest WW1 type fix. I wore the 38" version out and was going to do the Brandenburgh but I had promised myself when the 38" one finally bit the dust Id get the 50" one. Id love to get some feedback on it. Brutus
