I use 5 min epoxy and after hard landings and several crashes it still holds great.

The supplied glue is fine for the tail, but I use gorilla glue for the wing struts

Welders Adhesive worked fine for me........

Whatever you guys do, DO NOT USE the SUPPLIED GLUE for the Strut Attachment Points! I used 5-minute Epoxy!!!

I ordered some motor shafts for my motor but I have never changed them before. Can you please explain to me how to remove and replace the motor shafts.

I've had good luck with this glue on foam. It sticks really well, but remains flexible.

Been there done that, I am glad I used the supplied glue for the rudder/elevator cause if I had used the 5 min epoxy I would have never got it off the other day when I broke them

Simple, there are 3 allen bolts on the shaft, I had to dremel a slot in my orig one and use a screw driver cause I stripped them all out the 1st time I had to change it.

Here is what I told Eagle in a PM just in case it helps someone else:

This was sometime back so some steps may be missing. it goes along the lines of:

- There are two set screws that you need to remove from the top of the bell.
- There is a C clip connected to the back of the shaft that you need to remove
- Apply force to remove the shaft, by either pressing it against something, a rubber mallet, or a hammer (very gently so as not to bend it!).
- Put new shaft it.
- Close it the back with a collar
- Close the two set screws
- I remember I had to trim the shaft as it was a little too long. You can do so with a Dremel or s metal saw.
- You want to make sure the bell is connected firmly and cannot be pulled out
- Put some thread lock on the screws or check them often just in case they get lose from vibrations.

That's about it. At your own risk... Good luck...

I see that the Airfield Skytrainer is "archived" and I assume not available from Nitroplanes anymore. I bought mine from there a couple years ago, and it is still in mint condition. (has only flown once and sat in storage since as I have been away in the military) I may want to get another one, and I am wondering where to buy now? I have seen similar models on Bananahobby, but prefer not to deal with them.

Nitroplanes lost the contract with FMS and now Banana Hobby sells the Cessna. You can also get it from SN Hobbies in Canada. I think Killerplanes also sells it as well

If you do not want to deal with the USA Distributor and it seems like it is Banana Hobbies then, I would deal with Philip from PW-RC dot com.

Just E-Mail his and tell him that you would like to buy a complete Model. It seems like it is a Dynam model as there are parts being sold by PW-RC dot com.

It looks like you may have the older 4CH version like I do. AFAIK, you can't get it anywhere anymore (including BH) and parts are pretty much non-existent as well (other than NP and their outrage shipping to the east coast). Your best bet is to get the newer 6CH version (with the flaps), which is sold (or at least used to) in a bunch of places such as:
