I too agree that you should send it back because you bought it new and it is unused. If you had used it and it was in that condition I would check it out for leakage, odor, balancing and if ok continue to use it. I have lots of flights on one that is in much worse condition after a wreck. Depends on the project cost. I would not use it in one of my gas turbine models however.

I have only three flights on my EF . Am using 3300mah X 6s X 30c @ 545 grams how much does the GensAce weigh ??????

Also how much time should I expect with 50 / 50 high/ low speed flight???
Anyone got a best guess???

658g by their specs. 50/50 you should get 3.5 min then time to land with option of go-around 1 time. You may get lucky with another one but I would not push it unless your an excellent glider pilot.

I'm flying 4000mah 6S 40C Zippys and fly 50/50 virtually always. Timer set to 3min and wheels down is at 3:30 pretty much every time which leaves me with 20~25% left in the pack. In short, I suggest 3min (or less if your using 3300mah packs) and land; at least for the first couple flights until you can confirm, via post flight battery checks, you can justify increasing your timer

I have been doing 2 3/4 min. flites to wheels down when on upwind in front of me and last long ((1 min) pattern to landing. Battery use-age is about 1900 mahr out of 3300mahr. But not sure if battery consumption is linear or not. Will try to work up to your suggestion of 3.5 min to wheels down tomorrow.
Love the glide in on final to 50 foot roll-out with nose high. Flies like a turbine model but a lot less expensive.
