Not sure which servo horn or wheel you have but most 450's like about 8mm out from center is a good starting point. You will loose some travel moving the ball in but you should be able to adjust you end points to re-gain full slider travel.

Second kit... oh boy there you go.....

The temptation to build it up will be huge. If you start that way you prospone getting a decent heli over time.

If you use it as parts it is okay. always good to be able to repair quickly. I always keep bearings on stock in every size i would possibly need for all my heli's. Ebay 10 packs and hobbyking 4-packs makes them very economical at ~25cent a piece, even if you have to toss out 25 to 50% due to quality control you still win big.

Align parts are indeed ridiculously priced. that's why we have clones

I have looked at what other 450 kits are available now here in the Netherlands if one would step up from the clone quality. It's ridiculouse. basically stuck with Align or overpriced and heavyu Gaui X3. For JR Forza can't really find spare parts anywhere.

Getting a barebone MiniProtos with motor, put in YEP ESC, 4X Tgy306 servo and gold-Kbar gyro like i did still would be one of the better choices today. Ckado.com has most parts on stock and free shipping.

I still feel so lucky to get both miniP used for ~E125 a piece. sure needed comlete bearings overhaull but it flies SO much more predictable than the HK450 ever did. Still in love here

the bal is now 7 mm from centre of the horn, delay set at 0
how to get the tailservo horn at 90 degrees? can't use (sub)trim because of the gyro.

sp00fman it's a kit for parts that don't break often in a crash like the frame.
also ordered spareparts from international.
will completly setup the head and shaft so it a drop in after a crash
you can also find copterx at the same price as the trex in the netherlands

just can't figure out why HK doesn't stock the parts in EU because its a good strategy.
was at my LHS today and they told me align is no longer manufactured because robbe went bankrupt a while back so there's a huge sparepart gap in the market.
i didn't know about that and now i understand why the align parts are hard to get.

The story smells like horse s*,

freakware took over the roll of distributer of Align products in Germany and Aus. Looks like Robbe has nothing to do with part production itself.

Local hobby shop attempting to sell you Blade products perhaps?

Move the whole servo on the boom to adjust the neutral position.
Worry more about getting equal throw on the tail pitch slider, the geometry of the 450 is not quite correct to get the arm at 90 degrees and have equal throws.

Got a deal on some Gensace packs to try,so done a quick video, wow the new packs sure woke this heli up even more, flight times much longer too, they are an extra 150mah larger also, great packs, they don't even come in hot....

Excuse the poor editing, allthough funny at times when i look back on it lol... i just wanted to do a fast video of them in action.

I moved from 85% headspeed to 95%,the older packs were been drained too fast at this high speed and only giving me around 2 and a half mins, the new packs i'm getting four mins and a lot more if i drop the head speed down,i'm impressed with them !

450L-6s -- Gensace Test flight..... (5 min 25 sec)

what i now did was give full tail pitch in both directions, slide the servo, increase the limit until it was just binding in both directions and turned the limit down a tad until it didn't bind in both directions.
made those adjustments in rate mode and doublechecked in HH.

going to test it out this afternoon.

still waiting for the shipments from hobbyking and it's to windy to fly.
tail performs ok now but its stil not perfect so gyro change is next on the list. (or apm and fbl head)

edit: second kit and lipo's delivered, already filed an RMA claim because of a puffed lipo.

Hi guys
I have good news and bad news... i'm learning to make autos.... because the motor has a cutoff for a second and restart ...
Is a Tarot 450 fbl heli, yep 40, ikon fbl, 3s 25c lipos, 2 Orange dsmx satellites. Typhoon 3500kv motor, Devo 10 Tx.
Suspects: Motor wiring, Esc lvc, interference?
Someone had a similar experience?
Thanks!
