lightweisght covering

Hi everyone,

I'm building a Mini-Laser 3D now and am covering it. I'm using Monokote, and while I know it's heavy, it's going on because I want to gly this bird...

I'm interested, though, in learning what all you folks use for a lighter covering. I've tried Litespan with no success -- seems like it only shrinks in one direction. I've wondered about Airspan, and some of the newer coverings as well...

Is there an online comparison of these products, listing applied weights and opinions of their good and bad points?

Joe

Joe,
I have used Oracover Light and it is easy to work with. I have used Micafilm which is lighter and stronger but is more work becuse you have to apply adhesive first and then again where it overlaps. I read some good comments about Solar Lite but have never tried it. I would use Oracover Lite again.

Take a look @ Todd Long's site. RA Microlight and SoLite both are EXTREMELY light (but strong) and self adhesive.Todd's Models
