Hacker A60-7S V2 in Vanquish

Got my Hacker rear mount motor yesterday. Looks like about 1/2 inch too long. Anyone use this motor, and how did you remedy this problem? I ain't sceered to hack away at the motor box.

I elected to extend the cowl using a spacer and not use the x mount, rather than modify the motor box.

Sorry, left out the important thing. It's a Vanquish.

Finished the motor box mod. Bored out the original firewall to allow the motor to be moved back 1/4 inch. Then made a new firewall and epoxied it behind the original one. Then reinforced with 1/4 inch triangle stock. Bullet proof. The gap now is only .183 inches.

Is that something you made yourself or does TruTurn offer it? Very interesting solution, don't think i've ever seen it before.

http://www.hacker-motor-shop.com/e-v...&c=7013&p=7013

Type 28-Pole
recommended Timing: 25°
Switching Frequency 8 kHz

I use the above settings on my motor with a Jeti Mezon with 8s and 19x12 prop...so far no issues
