True. Wish I had a vid camera instead of a still camera doing video.
![]() I've pulled the fan apart again as it won't stay in balance. I think I have it now. Makes a big difference in rpm when it's balanced and the blades of the rotor are spinning flat. I've roughed up all the surfaces of the rotor adapter to keep it from spinning round under load and added glue between blades and blue loctite to the base of the adapter. Took a while to get the adapter perfectly smooth on my kinda worn out motor. Charging up batts now. |

New thrust test with video.
You can hear how awful the HET bearings are. They've been like that since I got this motor installed in my Stu 80mm. ![]() Thrust leveled out at 10 lbs 9 Oz. It was 10lbs 12 Oz max. No idea of efflux. But about 400 rpm more than previous test with same setup. Yea...And it didn't explode!!!
