I think people adding huge amounts of expo might be making things worse for themselves. Try cutting the rates down and leaving the expo at 0.

Been away from helis for a few years and this Nano lured me back so I went and ordered one !
Nano arrived 7 days ago and the DX6I I ordered the day before the heli has not showed up
So My Nano has sat there mocking me for a week and all I can do to while away the time is read what fun you guys on here are having !

IMO I dont think so..this heli responds with less input than most helis. But that is the thing about expo, all personal preference.
I had to run 45E until i got use to the heli and now have gone back down to 10ish E. Out of all the helis I have flown this one is the first where i felt i needed it for indoor flipping

I run 35 expo 100 DR indoor 3D. I find it is my sweet spot for flipping in tight spaces.

Does any one eles's Nano have the violent shakes? It's not the typical tail wag but the whole thing shakes pretty bad at a certain RPM. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this?

I received my Flowmotion NanoCPX landing struts today and they are extremely nice... I cannot wait to put them together and install on my Nano... Thank you Hannes for making these available to us...

Its extremly stiff but also light...just put the parts together and fix it with some glue.
The Lipo has the same position and fits perfect in this skid.
I also use the same fixing points at the body...no screws...just mounting as the original one.
I like it because the original is a bulls..t !

I programmed the one from the manual in my DX6i ... that is the one I am using. Also, the shakes with mine are there, but it is always just a very short time (sometimes feels like recurring in a specific sequence ...) and not as much that I really care to care about it. I am a total beginner, and I am probably going to crash this one into oblivion DESPITE of how resilient it is ...
I want to learn on this one - and if it shakes a bit in the process ... so be it ...

Yes when my feathering shaft needs straightening

I agree. Check your feathering shaft to ensure it's not bent and or nut that secures the blade grips to it.

Flew her tonight in +3c (37f for you US guys), only bounced off the garden shed once practicing inverted stuff. Of course, nothing broken. Picked it up, tossed it up, continued flying.

Only got 3 out of 5 packs in, fingers were going numb

Yes, I get them as well. What has been said about the feathering shaft is most likely correct.

In addition to this, I've found that when mine shakes after I crash, sometimes it's because there is just the tiniest amount of play in my Main Gear/Main Shaft.

I just gently push the gear back up to take up the play and the vibe goes away.

Do you actually straighten the shaft and reinstall it or, do you replace it? How do you straighten it?

Same, when main gear slips down it'll vibrate badly on power up.
