Damn. You guys are lucky. The best prize the governing body here can come up with is a $500 plane. Dunno if that has the servos and stuff in it or just the air frame. I wish i could get a big gasser. Im looking at converting either a leaf blower or whipper snipper engine to rc mainly for sh1ts and giggles

The hk cdi inits are $40 i think (or there abouts) plus postage. And a zip tie works to hold them as that is what every gasser ive seen has had (all two of them)

so here's the video I finally uploaded of the vintage R/C stuff I bought. I charged up the radio system for 10 minutes, plugged a servo into the receiver and it works!
 and it's from the early 70's too! anyway, all this will look real good sitting on a shelf in my room. Enjoy, and feel free to subscribe to my channel RCInsight. It's mostly rc cars now, but I iam going to be putting up some plane videos soon i hope.
