Used this for a motor mount, just unscrew the propeller bolt. It is reverse thread.

This motor will plug into the f929 board. I am not sure about the v911 board. It has nice long leads to reach back to the tail.

Small props for direct drive on 8.5mm brushed motor. Need to be reamed slightly to press on to shaft.
Nice build! Is the 8.5mm motor really enough for flying that plane? What's the AUW?

Right around 50 grams AUW. And no, it is marginal on power, but that will soon be fixed with a 3 gram outrunner. See my previous posts.

I could have bought a Flysky radio or a 9x but the whole point of using these bricks is economy (and I like my Spektrum radio). What I need to do is wire in the module inside my transmitter and use the onboard battery for power and use the tx bind button.

I just realized I still hadn't posted a video of my 8" HiperMite, so here it is.
8" Micro R/C HiperMite Biplane (1 min 43 sec)

It's VERY touchy on the controls.

@Ricomon, love your Hypermite. Do you ever worry about the Wl toys transmitter not having enough range? I also like the Thermate glider, what did you use for the drive package in it?

Thanks. I've ground tested the range at well over 100 yards, and my heli still took off. I can hardly hear my aircraft at that range, so I know won't be deliberately flying that far away.

The gearbox and motor in the TherMate are stock Flyzone Playmate parts.
