Thanks Renfield!
I have exactly the same settings - so I need to pay more attention to what really changes ;-)
I'm not going to mod the wings as the Icon can be flown as it is now.

That sound great
Looking forward to seeing that
Always dig your videos

The videos on here is what inspired me to get my Icon out there on the pond in the first place.
Now I look forward to finding some more water landing areas as well, now that I have gotten a lot more comfortable with water take offs and landings.

One of the guys is working on a rescue boat idea for us.
Will post pics of it when it is done

Got my icon back. The guy i sold it to thought t was too fast for him and he wanted a kit i wasmt gonna finish, so we traded its alot of fun on water, but not very waterproof once that bow hits the water though, the rudder becomes REALLY effective!

Thanks foamy.
I enjoy making the vids and showing them to you guys.
Once you become as comfortable as I am with the water flying, then the only thing to worry about is equipment malfunction, which has only left me stranded out in the lake one time.
I landed perfectly, then went to turn it around to taxi in and the rudder servo stuck in full right position, because water had gotten in it and rusted it up.
After fiberglassing the bottom of the boat I have never since had even a drop of water inside, and no more rudder servo trouble.
The rescue boat sounds like a good idea.

I can't remember (story of my life) did you fiberglass the bottom of yours?
