I assure you guys, the loss of the VMX450 to all of you had NOTHING to do with the economy in the last 5 years. It had everything to do with poor management, total lack of marketing and piss poor decisions based on ego. Nothing more.

You dont build an evergreen product and then neglect to water it.

If it wasn't for you designing & pushing for it to be produced we would never have had the VMX450, to me it seemed like one of the powers to be didn't like the idea of you putting so much time & resources into it so made it hard for you to stay & the bike went with you.

I bet you'd have to buy all that stuff for under $1000 to re-coup your money----and it would take forever, even at that price. Just my guess.......

The ARX rider fits ok.
It's plastic as opposed to foam, so probably harder wearing.

Hi, I've been in the RC world for years. I recently ran across this thread became very interested in the DB mm450 and then just stumbled on a new one at a hobby store. I have read the first few hund posted and then jumped to the end. Last week I started buying spares.

So if I missed it is there a list of or can you suggest "must have" spares other than the tires? I have several SM tires, and can make up some knobbies.
I like to have an idea before and if I get this thing dirty.

Thanks for all the greats vids an tips
M
