Help!
Transmitter, which one

Looking for a transmitter under $100 that will enable me to controll 6 channel helicopters. At the same time have channel mixing to control delta wings.

Been looking at the dx6i. Anyone know if this will do the correct channel mixing for the eleven?

Thanks.

Look for a helo radio that has a custom mixing capability of at least two functions. I don't know if that's available on a radio priced at less than one hundred dollars. One option on a Delta planform, not a Chevron, is to use a four servo wing with separate aileron and elevator control surfaces. That does add weight and cost, but would work with a standard helo radio.

I have seen that you can buy a y connector that will mix the channels after the reciever and before the servos.

If you want cheap an Orange radio from HobbyKing will do the job,

I am a fan of Tactic radios, a bit dearer but better quality.
Both will do the mixing you require

There are tons of good used DX6i's. Many went to new DX6. It has what you need. H/K or copy of DX6i also but will cost almost the same. clone or real deal up to you. Spend a few bucks and get new DX6i and worry free.

I have a DX6i and like it for my needs, mine has been rode hard and put away wet and I've repaired a broken roller and switch (handling abuse) but I've gotta say my Tactic TTX850 is really impressing me.

It took me less than five minutes to set up my Sonic 64 wing, including dual rates and exponential. It's $180 bucks, a jump from your budget, but is a great Tx at that price. And the six and eight channel dual-antenna receivers are $25 and $40 (vs. $40 & $90 for Spektrum).

This will do everything you want. It will accept any 2.4 module for JR (Orange, Corona, Spektrum)
