Yes - They are both the same 6mm diameter so both motors fit the MV gearbox. The stock MV motor is about 10 mm long and the J3 motor about 15mm long.

Still nothing in the works to replace it? That was over a year ago and I just recently discovered this plane on Horizon's site. Even had my wallet out to buy one when I saw it had been discontinued. Dang, I love my Night Vapor and would buy a smaller version in a heartbeat.

I don't know why the discontinued it... my guess it it didn't sell real well (until the clearance sale anyway) being that it wasn't all that much cheaper than the regular vapor, and you really cant fly it anyplace you couldn't fly the vapor.... I only got one because of the clearance sale.

Nanotech 60 mah works great! You can get good 8 minutes of spirited flight. It is not heavy for mini Vapor.

Hi Guys, I have received a Mini Vapor brick that I ordered through the mail, after making sure that it binded and the servos worked, I am confused as to how to wire the motor wires to the brick. Could somebody give me some advice and point me to where the motor wires are supposed to go to on this brick? I assume I need to solder them to it yes?

Thank you

Yep, bottom side. You'll have to remove the board from the frame to get to them.
