50mm A7 shared data build

I started an A7 build and thought I'd share my data with everyone. So far, I've cut a fuse to mount the edf and do some basic testing. I'm working with Rhino and will provide files for anyone to work with. Feel free to modify the design and post your files for others to work with.

My modeling skills are not the greatest so, forgive some of the gaps.

Inlet (100% fsa) and outlet (85% fsa at end)sized for skyangel 50mm edf.
Elevators are shown in 2 different sizes. One scale, the other larger.

Here are a couple of renders to give you an idea of what I've got so far.

I'll post pictures of the fuse trial build when I get back home on Sunday.

Looks good so far. Will the plane be made from solid foam?
A friend and I have made a larger one, but didn't use any 3D modeling.

The plane is cut in sections using a hot wire. This first version is made out of the cheap white foam just to try things out. I don't have any of the internal passages for wires etc. I also need to change the duct shape so that the ESC has a good surface to mate with
Final version to be cut in the stronger blue foam.
Pictures to come.

Here are some pics just to show what it looks like. Rudder and elevators are going to be cut from 6mm depron. I'll cut the wings out of blue foam with an airfoil just so that I can throw it in the air and see how it flies.

There's a cardboard support at the front of the intake. White foam is too weak.
The bottom was hogged out for the ESC. Next version will have the ESC on top. I'm also going to make the intake flat so that the ESC sits properly.
ESC and Battery wires go thru the intake duct. That will be corrected on the next version with the ESC move.
