I noticed this evening that I'm having the clevis problem as well. I've notched the side with the screw end but the servo still chatters when I apply more than half of the down elevator stick. Guess I've stripped a few gears... Wonder if DreamFlight will send me a replacement servo?

Tried a different launch method today--bungy[too old for this discus stuff]
[Thats a High Start to the mod set]
Taped a hook under the fuse about 10mm ahead of the C of G.
Used 50m of 6mm hardware bungy.
And 100m of 100lb fishing line.
Hookon and walk back apx 50m to release.

Launch heights were apx 30m, [but a 'lot' of wing bending]
Was hoping for more like 40m-60m.

Tape holds pretty good--but does need something a little better.

Hardware Bungy[maybe go smaller size] is not ideal, as it releases most of its enegy too quickly in the first 10-20m retract.
The old surgial rubber 'tube' was the best[but very hard to get cheaply now--AUD$8/ m here]
Partically here in Oz now.
It retracted at a fairly constant rate until near the end.

If anybody knows where to get it--please let me know.

Was thinking of making a 'small' winch to get a more gentle 'constant' climb.
Anybody tried a gentle winch launch[probably need a lower voltage on a normal winch]

M

Try HobbyKing.

Have you considered a whip launch (or a woomera) as I initially thought the Whipit would use!

The HobbyKing stuff is Silicon--not very strechy/poor compared to latex rubber tube.

But, will save from breaking your wings!!!!
