Please recommend DMM/Whattmeter

I'd like to purchase a whatt/amp/voltmeter that does everything I need. Much preferable to buying something and getting a bigger/better/different one soon after.

I have the Hitec CG-335 charger, which I thought had some sort of meter (digital display), but I guess I need more than that.

Thanks
Jim

Can't spell

Ok,
My physics professor used to ask, "Watt is the unit of power?"
Never did he ask "Whatt is the unit of power?"

The spelling has been changed but the question remains.

Watt is so great about the Astro? Dose it measure inductivly or do you have to break the circuit? What all can you do with it and how much is it?
I currently measure the load voltage with a DMM and use an inductive Ameter to measure current with another.

astro flight watt meter

I guess the reason that the Astro Flight watt Meter is so Great is that It works . No brainer, goes between the battery & load( controller) Displays watts/volts/ current at same time .
If you only have one measuring tool for Electrics, This is # One.

Astro Flight Whattmeter

The Tower hobby tech notes on the Super Whattmeter say that the Zero loss connectors must be used. Of course if there is loss across a connection, then your measurment is erroneous. Is there any reason I can't put Sermos connectors on the whattmeter?

While we're on the topic. The folks at EAM suggested the sermos. Note: Everything I've read about EAM, AND MY PHONE CALLS, QUESTIONS AND PURCHASE FROM THEM HAS BEEN GREAT. What do y'all use? Are there connectors that are better/easier/cheaper?

Thanks
Jim
