Whooops; how time flies.
I'll have the Cessna covered before the time limit.
For me, the doculam was a little tricky going around the fuse; had to do it in sections like dry tissue.

Also have the Dakota to finish for another thread.
Lancer remains waiting for paint decorations.
PeaceMaker (U/C) , no 2 is waiting for covering. Bill and myself didn't get a chance to try his.

Lastly, the Tomtit has been flown. A marginal video is being prepared.

Lanzo Swayback build

Hi George.

Very belatedly, I've finally started a build log for the Lanzo Swayback I entered in your build off.

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2304651

I suppose it should be called a build summary or something like that rather than a build log, because as I mentioned back in July, the model has been completed and flown some time ago.

Sorry I couldn't/didn't get at this sooner.

Well, we have the current AMPLAN build off running until March 31st 2015, and there has already been discussion about what subject might be chosen for one to follow on from that on 1st April, so yes, there will be one starting then, subject yet to be decided.

As regards the "Complete a Project" idea, this one has run for a full year and has resulted, so far, in 15 part built models being completed, which is quite satisfying. There are still a lot of entries though that have stalled. Whether it s worthwhile running anotherbuild off in 2015 for incomplete models from the 2014 build off - r other sources - I'm not sure. Those who would like one should speak up.

I think another complete a project build off is a good idea, but maybe starting mid year and running through to 2016? Just to keep some variation in the mix?

I'd be up for that. I was just about to start repairing the Uproar on Wednesday when I had a phone call from the estate agent to say that a lady wanted to view my house, so I had to shove it all up in the loft!

Spearhead Senior build log

Hi George.

Another slightly overdue "build summary" - Jerry Stoloff's Spearhead Senior. Entered, built, flown already.

Only one more to come!
