I have a few of these. You need to take the cotter pin out
from the very back. This will release the 3mm rod and then you
can take the can off.
Then you take like an 8mm socket and place it on the center
of the bearings(at the front). Give it a couple of good taps with
a hammer and it will shoot out the back. You can then take
the bearing tube and reattach it or use something else.
