How can I tell when a LiFe battery is dead.

Ok its probably a stupid question but, I run a 2100 2s LiFe in my taranis. When it is freshly charged it shows 6.7 volts on the transmitter. As I use it, it never drops below 6.6 volts. I have only (killed) it once I noticed it was at 6.1 volts I took it out and charged it and it took somewhere around 1900 mah.

My question is, is there anyway to know the approximate level of the battery? Like with lipo if it is around 3.8 I know its about half discharged. Do I just need to keep a close eye on the voltage since when it does drop it drops rapidly??

Fresh off the charger a 2s will read about 7.2v or maybe more depending on brand. The ones I use drop to about 6.66v pretty quickly just sitting on a shelf as the voltage stabilizes. If my RX packs are at 6.6x volts when I'm ready to fly they are fully charged. I recharge when they get around 6.4 volts.

Your question seemed like you were interested in knowing when to recharge them, not what the voltage was fully charged.
