Aileron Torque Rod Connections

Anybody have any good pictures or diagrams of a 'quick connect' torque rod setup?

I'm wanting something that can be easily disconnected when the wing is removed. Can't seem to get the right picture in my head, and thought I could use some help.

Please?

I don't remember who, but I know someone was using insulation stripped from some wire and/or small diameter heat-shrink tubing.

So you're looking for a setup so that the aileron servo can stay in the fuselage while you remove the wing? What application is this? It's rather unusual.....

Buddly, how did you secure those where the servo arms connect to the torque rods? Epoxy?

Dreamer,

Nope, the wire sticks up, and you drill a small hole on either side of the little round part on the servo head, and stick it through the wire. Use CA to secure. Make sure it is a TIGHT hole!

Simple as 123. My own invention......

No particular application, just a recurring thought about how to handle ailerons on a 2 piece wing, w/o using 2 servos.

On my UltaFlyer (Cheap Parkflyers), I'm using the little DuBro Micro clippy-thingamajiggers instead of Z bends on the aileron horns, but it's a pain to attatch. The linkage sucks, too, so I'll probably just add another servo if it seems to fly decent on the EPS100 or J250....
