BRAVO!

You hit the nail!

I know at least one nice older gentleman and can't believe his opinion about these Park Zone models that they are Ugly due to the Z-foam texture and then, he profess that with that kind of $$$ he can buy two of the competition models etc.. etc..etc...

Now this person invited me over to his place twice to fly and take pictures and video of his models and did NOT say anything about the foam etc....until I got back home and finally said something about this opinion via PM about the Park Zone brand. This fine gentleman "is" a Tower Hobby customer but, in the past has been buying FMS / Dynam brand and now his Love are the larger balsa models known as the PHEONIX models that Tower Hobby stocks. Just recently, I have realized that if you throw a little ribbing about his models is not taken so nicely and now he no longer wants to talk or discuss anything with me. Go figure, he can dish it out on those models "HH" that I own but, I just can't provide a little humor towards something about his models.

I have bought in two occasions Flyzone models (Tower Hobby Stocked) and In one instance, I did try a Flyzone product and it was a complete disaster then, other times I found the model just too under powered etc.....

Nope, there is nothing like Horizon Hobby products that provide high quality and durable products along with many parts to spare! Like you, I have had both the NAVY that came originally with the E-Flite 25-AMP Non-Switch mode ESC and the FM Receiver and Horizon Hobby shipped me the newer 30-AMP E-Flite ESC and gave me a discount towards a Spektrum RX. As a result, that NAVY model logged perhaps as much flights as yours. Like you, I have retired the NAVY version to a friend and he is still flying it!

I am keeping my beloved Airforce "D" model for a long time to come.

Thank you.

I dug some foam and put the ESC in the same spot then cut a path thru the bridge for the wires by wacking out some foam there then glued the piece of foam back in.

The first modification I made to the 28 was make it a breech loader.

Do you guys recommend Gluing the wing when hopping up the power system?

It seems pretty flimsy with the wing bolt only

No, I used 3M, 2 inch wide Clear Packing tape on bottom of both wing halves on my 1st Generation Park Zone F4U Corsair without Retracts.

The Tape avoids the wing to angle up "or" bend upwards in a tight, high speed turn.

In 20 minutes and less than $10 I sunk a 3mm CF rod in my wing. You can see it here.

I use bathroom silicon sealant in the wing saddle. Holds great and with 2 thumbs pressure it pops off when necessary.

That mold underneath the Canopy is to keep "a" Stock recommended battery from sliding AFT (backwards) when your model is commanded to do a hard and rough maneuver.

Should you have modified your Trojan to a larger power system and that requires a larger battery then, you would need your Modeling Skills to remove some of that foam.

I maidened it and it is going to be a handful for my neighbors son.

I hadn't flown one in like six years. I thought it was a bit more newbie friendly.

It is brand new, hopped up motor, esc , prop

He is going to get a stick.

It's for sale $150

I have no use for it. I need a barn door rudder to have fun. lol
