Question
Higgens F-20 C.G. ?

Hi everyone, I just recently got a Higgens F-20 from a fellow sloper. It has never been flown and was wondering where the C.G. should be located? I have no plans to refer to..... Thanks Jack T.

The planform on those is pretty close to symmetrical - just start somewhere between 25% and 30% of the root chord and adjust from there (probably back a bit).

How heavy is it?

This is directly from the manual;

"The C.G. is set 2.75-3 inches from the leading edge, adjust for your prefrence."

If you want to swing by I can make you a photocopy of the plans. Let me know?

Got mine flying at 78mm but not had a lot of air time to refine it.
If it`s too far forwards to start with you will not have enough elevator response to keep it in the air. Had mine set safely for a start but it just headed straight for the bottom of the hill and I couldn`t pull it out.
