Don't know about you guys, but I don't mind a few dings, but major damage and I don't even want to fly it even if it flies ok. Kinda like my RC car buddies when I was 13 years old. They all ran cars with no bodies and I always thought, what's the point?
It would require some major retooling. First, where do you put the battery, since the nosewheel would tuck in there? And you'd need thicker wings for the mains.
This would add to the weight, and require a bigger battery and motor, and before you know it, you got the Habu 2.

a prototype on a 3-D printer. Install the electronics, test, and then have the

I'm just suprised that it didn't happen sooner since there's no need to clear lisencing like there would be for say an F/A18.
If it scales directly with no mods this is true. And perhaps going from the original Habu's size to this it does. But I kind of doubt it, especially in the EDF ducting and airfoils.

Im going to have to get one to replace my micro stryker. Personally I wasnt a big fan of the MiG. Kinda needed a power bump but who knows, maybe the new UMX habu will be a better flyer.

given the same batts, the sabre seems to fly faster for me relative to the mig. its very cg sensitive though. makes for tricky hand launches. ROG is not a problem though.

My Mig flies circles around the sabres at my club.... though I run it on 3S.

I did do a stock to stock dogfight with my Mig and a Sabre at my club field. Top speed was nearly identical, Sabre had an edge in thrust, Mig was MUCH more stable and held energy much better in turns. Mig was also much less effected by the wind.

I don't know, with the gear removed the Mig is more than a match for the F-86 in a dogfight. The one thing the F-86 has over the mig is vertical. In all other aspects the Mig has a slight advantage. The guy I was flying with even came over to look and admitted the my Mig was better than his Sabre.

I'm curious to see how the Sabre handles 3S, let me know! As it stands now the 3S mig is completely untouchable by a 2S Sabre.

Nitro is on the sideline waiting for a good day (definitively not the best season right now for him and even if that bird is good in the wind, I want to see some flights without too much wind too) and HH is doing other larger aircrafts. Unless HH sent me one, we will have to wait a few more days I guess.
