I'm trying to get this thing in the air but I'm lazy and distracted. I did finally buy a new RX for it and I charged it up. Getting close, but I really want to get a couple of guys out with me to fly it (and pay for it!).

Seriously considering Soar Utah this year, but I may be doing some video for my friend Michael Lloyd since he's racing at Reno for the first time this year. If I don't make it maybe someone would like to take out there? Who's next? (as the Who would say).

Reed: Bring it to Reno, I can scare up a few guys to fly it. Maybe a flt or 2 over Lake Tahoe.

Sounds good, but that isn't until September.

I'm out of town for a week - actually, I'll be in Denver but I'll working almost the entire time. Promise to get it in the air soon.

Couldn't fit it in the luggage. But when I get back it'll fly and there WILL be video!

The picture map has been updated. Now include's SLO Soarer Dave's photos. Also, links to reference posts on rcg.com have been attached.

The tour officially started on July 16th, 2005 - depending where you are in the world, it's the one year anniversary of kickoff. According to the rcg threads around, only ELEVEN tour stops (NZ w/out photo documentation) during that period of time.

That's pretty sweet man. I like the concept. What an excellent birthday present for the Dom. Hopefully we can get all those who fly in the future to send you their pics so we can keep it updated. Nice job man.

The resolution is "google earth" quality - which is really good for some areas, not so for others. Can't wait to get the map populated.

Could the original photogs take a close look @ the tags on their photos? LMK if I need to move the tag around. I was able to accurately (I think) guess some by the photos.

She flies the NorCal coast today and tomorrow. Anyone who makes it out to the Secret Spot at the end of John Daly Blvd in Daly City will get a turn on the sticks. PM me for more details.
