yes i try to carve my own props, i tend to break them better than i can carve them. the 18x8 w was a 22x8 xoar that i tried with a 6s pack on this plane. ended up pulling to many amps so i cut it down. i am try to figure out to carve a 19x4 for this plane. just think it would be stupid fun.

Cool....I used to have a small prop carving machine....but as noted, it has been many, many years since I carved a prop, but also as noted I tried carving a few by hand.....way too hard to get it all true and balanced..... And also getting good wood was really hard back in the 1960's...

yeah the 18x8 really sounds sweet under load, please note that"i think i got it figured out" was referring to posting videos and links. but still, Having FUN every time i fly this beautiful plane.

I stated a couple of times, that I hoped to write a manual for the 74" Edge, but it just hasn't come to fruition....what I have done though is to write a couple of articles that might help to build any ARF....and I took a lot of pics while building my Edge....so...over my next few posts, a little info, and pics... I'll start with installing the hinges....

When you receive a model....the first thing you should do is to inspect all the parts...

You should go over the model shrinking all the covering down....when you have trim that has small sharp ends, move from the widest end then past the point...not into the point... Also now is the time to cut out all of the openings in the covering...
