Only Hellcat I've heard of with folding wings was by Art-tech. This Wildcat looks larger than that and are those likely working retracts on the Wildcat? Quite an undertaking...

Wow! Looks like it has scale working retracts! It will be very interesting to see how they executed it. They were complex the real plane.

The folding wings look like an enormous pain in the rear for practical reason--like another mechanical part that can fail. The Art-tech Hellcat was not popular so I wonder why this?

The Grumman wing fold is a very solid system and if Lx got it duplicated in effectiveness, it'll be a much more practical thing than the mechanism on their Corsair. It leads me to think this plane is a bit larger than it appears, maybe in the 1400mm range.

I'm more intrigued by the landing gear. That would be a bugger if the parts start to wear in after a few cycles and flights, causing it to bind or the wheels not track true. The track is narrow, one could expect to drag a wing tip from time to time.

It's refreshing to see a different model show up amongst the Corsairs, P-51s, Thunderbolts, etc. I have the Parkzone Wildcat and it is such an excellent flying plane. I like the scale motor and front end treatment on the Lx model too.

I would guess there is some competition amongst the designers in these Chinese model companies too, keeps each other on attention. I'll bet it's a while down the road before this one is seen for sale anywhere.

Thanks for the show website Twiz. There were some incredible models. Make sure you click English. The first few pages are nothing but girl models hehe.
I am not even into helicopters and there were some fantastic scale versions that I would love to see in person. Heck there were ship models Titanic, etc that looked very cool. I noticed what looked like some nice P-38 parkflyers too. Lots of cool accessories. Very excited to see when these things hit the shelve or there is more info.
