HB .61 PDP Chrome head
I don't know the history of this engine however it looks to be in excellent shape, No staining on the outside of the engine. My freind and I bought a bunch of planes and stuff from a guy who was selling his dads stuff and this engine was in with it.

The compression is excellent and it it turns smooth...no bearing issues.

I ran it about a month ago and adjusted the needles. I was going to use it for a TF P-40 someone gave me however this engine is too much for it.

I mounted it on my test stand this morning and it fired right up. It's a great running engine.

I don't know the HP rating and I couldn't find any specs concerning HP...sorry.

I have been told these have very good power.

HB Horsepower
My HB manual shows plain HB.61 as 1.43 @ 13,800, and HB .61 PDP (like yours) as 1.72 @ 16,000. Hope this helps.
