CC3D Vs Naze32?? (as of 2015)

I want to get either one of these flight controllers for completing my 250, I wanna have some good fun, so stability in FFF and turns are very important, I will be using an EMAX 250 Pro OR a Diatone #37, I don't want to spend a lot of time tuning , A lot of people say (or said) that the CC3D is hard to program, But I believe there is a new PC program to set it up which is easier, The Reason I want to get a Naze32 is because many people such as bruce(xjet) and BMSWEB use it!.
Pls state the differences of each.
THANKS!

Honestly no real difference 'tween them, pretty similar hardware-wise. Both will run the same software (with the exception of OpenPilot, and I think that might have been ported to Naze), so I would go with the best deal you can get. I have both running CF, no preference.

I'm changing my quads from Naze32 to CC3D. I don't like the fact that when you increase PID gains, you reduce stick response. KK2.1 and CC3D don't do that. I was never able to get good crisp response in yaw at fairly high rates with the Naze32. I fly acro exclusively. The naze may be fine for FPV or aerial photography.

I have a BG one, it works fine. The one I got from everbuying.com is a $20 glue spreader.

when you say response, do you mean rates?

Do you use cleanflight?

Yes, I mean rates; if I get the board set up for the rate of rotation I like (say 500 degrees/second) and I increase the gains, the rate of rotation is decreased.

No, I'm using baseflight.

Hi.

Cleanflight runs on CC3D and Naze32 and Flip32 and others .
You have a choice of 6 different PID controllers . PID 3 is very popular for quick response and good feel . Check it out defore changing over , and there is lots of support for it .

Too late. I already changed out the FCs on my scratchbuilt 450 and 200. We'll be changing out the KK2.1.5 in my son's 450 and putting in a CC3D some time this week.

It could be that the problems I had with the PID system in BaseFlight have been fixed in CleanFlight, but I have been very happy with OpenPilot and the CC3D, so I don't see any reason to change at this point. I did download CleanFlight and plugged in an old Naze32 board to play with it. I may stick together a PVC quad to play with it at some point.

like reelflyt said.

i just changed over to cleanflight and tried out pid controller 1 (multiwwi "rewrite")

and the difference is crazy. its very responsive and pid is not supposed to affect rates with that controller i think. I didnt need to tune the TPA either, it was just smooth right away, i only had to lower pid`s a bit.

check out oscar liang : http://blog.oscarliang.net/pid-contr...2-cleanflight/
