"Power Force" 20 Amp Power Supply Hobby Lobby crash sale?

Does anyone know anything about this power supply? "Power Force" 20 Amp Power Supply at http://www.hobby-lobby.com/crash.htm

I can't seem to find the original manufacturer's website to find specifics including the warranty period.

Thanks,

Chris

I've got one. It works just like it should, but I'm not using it up to the full 20 amps it's rated for.

I just placed an order for one. I am planning to use it to charge my A123 10s packs @ 6A w/ my TP1010C. Will report back on how it goes.

I run 3 chargers at a time on it. Astro 109's, FMA Balance Pro and a Hitec 335. As long as I'm not asking to charge 3 large packs at the same time, it works just fine.

Thanks all for your advice. I ordered one last night and got the crash sale price. They must have sold out because it's not a crash item tonight.

Any other 20amp power supply I found on the net started at $60 and up....this was a great deal for only $40 bucks!

How do you connect 3 chargers at a time with only one output? Do you have pics of your setup?

I'll shoot a pix later, but it's just a banana plug on one end and three sermos connectors on the other. Then I converted the power cords on my chargers to sermos also.

One warning, do not short the output leads. It will kill the unit. The fuse is for the 110v AC side. There is no protection on the DC output. Ask me how I know this I used to clip the chargers together. Not any more.

The other thing is that this unit is simular to this one:

There's a correct way and an incorrect way to anything.

I use a Rigrunner and each output is individually fused.

Great PS. Don't panic when you turn it on and the fan doesn't run. It will run as needed based on output.
I often have 6 chargers plugged into mine. I took mine apart and drilled holes for 6 sets of banana jacks with a fuse to each one.
Oh, the fan runs with 6 chargers working. Expecially when I connect my XTREMA to it.

Wow..that's cool. It's like a mini electrical panel. Kinda pricey though. Ouch!

Do a Google on DC power distribution and Anderson Powerpole. There are quite a few less expensive options (e.g., Saratoga Ham) as well as quite a few DIY plans.

Bought the 20 amp power supply at the Crash sale. Got it yesterday. It comes in a plain white box, no paperwork, instructions or warantee. Hooked it to my Multiplex 5014 charged up two batteries and went flying this morning. The power supply works fine.

Got the 20amp power supply, TP 1010c w/ TP210V, 3 packs of A123 10s and a Kipor Sinemaster 1000W generator. Looking forward to use them at the field as soon as the warm weather comes back to us.
