All I have seen are a couple videos from IRCHA with them doing 3D using the NAZA FBL unit. Their flying was well beyond my capability and looked like it would certainly be fine for my style of sport flying. That's why I want to get one of these and try it out n my 500 just for fun. I want to see just how easy it is to set up and use, and also see how well the unit holds the tail, etc with the starter settings. The price point is just too hard to pass up, especially since I can get local support and not be dealing with a China vendor.

The one thing I see that I don't like......it appears there is no direct satellite RX support for the unit, and it requires a traditional RX. Not a huge deal with an S Bus setup, but I would really be happy with a plug and play setup like the SK unit.

It would be neat if the Naza-M could be converted to the Naza-H by simply upgrading/changing the firmware. Skookum alluded to doing this with the SK720 awhile ago.

Shouldn't be too bad. The FBL unit + RX and then the GPS RX on the boom. Much less than a Co Pilot unit which has the same plus sensors, wires and tubes all over the heli. The only real difference between this one and any other FBL unit is having to have a RX on board, but that can be stuck anywhere on or in the frame.

I agree a 250-450 size may be a little challenge though.

Any news on the 720 black edition? I see HeliDirect doesn't even have the original 720 anymore.

There are a few that are complaining about the gap between the old and new 720ís. I have not heard and beta test reports so maybe they are still working on the final hardware design. Skookum has always been painfully slow about bringing new products to market.

The bad news is that the SK720 ran into hardware supply issues and will have to be redesigned – who knows how long that will take!

Looks like those that need a 720 are out of luck.

Where did you hear that? If so that royally sucks since I can't find a single dealer with a SK720 in stock anymore. The supply has completely dried up.
