your reeka

That hobby king 600 that that had a flybarectomy flew today. This is the first time it went through an entire battery nonstop (actually two). All it did was hover first flight, and then a little slow side to side stuff on the second one.

Thank you jetplaneflyer, atomic skull and 2doggs for the help.

Did you ever get the problem with the washout arms solved? FYI there should be no problem with putting a small 3x4.5x0.5mm washer on the outside of the arm between the screw head and the bearing.

I just put put blue loctite on 'em, tightened to where it just started to bind then backed off and let it sit for a day to cure.

Great that it's flying. Was the tail hold ok, none of the slow rotation you experienced before?

Tail was great. I still don't trust it, a few wind gusts made it drift a little left and scared me but it came right back on it's own.
Cyclic was a bit more sensitive than I'm used to - turned down agility for the second flight and it feels better.
It is a bit intimidating.

The tail should be locked solid, so probably you need to increase the tail gain.

The great thing about FBL is you can adjust the responsiveness as easily as moving a slider in the software, so you can quickly have the heli responding exactly how you like it.
