Raiden needs more speed

Hi all,

I have a Kyosho Raiden. It has a fat (scale) fiberglass fuse and builtup 35" wing. Right now I have a Himax HC3516-0840 (840KV) motor on 4S 3300 30c battery spinning a 10x7 prop. This produces 422 watts and 29 amps. After flights the battery is barely warm but the motor is very warm (can just keep your hand on it). It seems to fly between 50-60 mph max.

So my question is, what is the best way to get more speed?

Going with a 10x10 prop will do it but I fear the motor may over heat.

Any recommendations on motor and prop combos to use with 4S to get around 65-75 mph?

Granted the cooling is very limited. I will drill out more cooling holes in front of the motor. More importantly I will open up some exhaust air holes at the rear of the fuse (I have none now). I will do this and fly tomorrow and give results on how hot the motor is (by touch). If it cools down the motor I'm going to throw a 10x10 prop on.

Thanks,
Kevin
