10mm square CF Arm Question
Ok, so ive used 8mm square CF tubing with wood inserts, but never used the 10mm CF square tubing. I havent been able to find any 8mm square so i bought some 10mm square cf. My question is this.
With the 8mm square cf tube with wood inserts, i have a pretty strong arm. For the 10mm square, I cant find any local hobby shop with square wood dowels that are of proper size to fit inside the 10mm square tubing (has an 8mm inside diameter)
Does anyone have any tips for strengthening the 10mm square?
Do i really need to strengthen the 10mm square? Or do you think it will be ok as is.
I plan on using about 500mm for each arm, with the motors mounted at about 333mm from dead center (extra arm for protection as im kind of a crappy pilot still!)
