I think the decals are fuel proof but many will shoot a coat of clear over top. That's one good looking Skyray.

Nice work. I'm about to embark upon my first Skyray build. Got some good tips here. thanks for posting. Waiting for that maiden flight report.

If your tank is not uniflow (doesn't look to be), your engine will run leaner and leaner as you run out fuel. I think you can get a uniflow which has the fuel pickup coming out the bottom of the tank, instead of the front, which will allow better mounting and fueltube routing.

I'm no longer flying control line. How long is your tank? I may have a uniflow I can send you and contribute to cutting down the clutter in my shop.

actually that is a uniflow tank, however I will be running a plastic clunk tank recommended in the plans. Thanks for the offer, however.

I have choices here. I am still a beginner in this game...
I love my FP25 on a Brodak Buster. Perfect combo. Running a 9-5 wood zinger on it. I might try a 10-6 just out of curiosity. It's nice to run modern fuel, instead of low nitro, high castor fuel. However, I'm gonna wrap up a classic stunt ringmaster an slap an old Fox .29 on it I ran as a kid. Nothing like the sound of a Fox, they deserve each other!

army_eod, nice model. Should be a lot of fun.
I built one a little similar, but it has the TE extended to increase the wing area.
I covered the decal with clear Doculam, so it's well fuel proofed.
Still waiting to get out and test fly it.

That looks real nice. May have to build another with your mod sometime.
