It's even possible to make a stable bicopter without using gyroscopic precession, if you understand the forces involved.
Ha!! that is called an FAAT Bicopter that does not use the gyroscopic force of the spinning props. aka Mollie II

So what's next on your agenda?

I know this is a older post, but I didn't see a response to this anomaly. In short, in most programming languages array's are zero based (i.e. the first item in the array is item zero: item[0]), so when looking at code like this that has an array, just keep this in mind and it will all be ok. This is normal and not an error.

If (#define SERVO_1_PINMODE) in one file relates to servo[0] in another file, it seams less confusing to name it (#define SERVO_0_PINMODE) instead.

A relatively small inconvenience though.

THAT part is true and is a programmers poor choice of naming convention, but the servo[0] is normal for an array. As a programmer of 7 different programming languages, it has always been a sore point for me to have zero based arrays, but have everything else 1 based. It can get confusing in more complicated code.

And that was my initial point. Wow.

That's cool, I just wanted folks who don't know to understand that the array's are zero based instead of one based, that THAT part was not in error, and that is something the programmer couldn't control. His naming convention is another story however. The post I was referring to in my quote above made is sound like the array numbering was off and not the naming convention so I was trying to clarify. Wasn't trying to offend, just offer an expanation to those who don't know.

Good point with the clarification. Just another reason why I refer to code as a necessary evil.

I'm really happy with the stability of this aircraft. Still room for making it even more stable so don't change that dial.

I have the beastie set up correct. Right motor layout loaded and the servos when tested directly to the Rx move freely with motors running however when running through the KK2 it does not move correctly.
I have re-flashed to try other firmware but no luck.
Is everyone here using multiwii?
I have a spare homebuilt wii fc spare..
Be nice to get the kk2 going as it's simple to make field adjustments....
Any one else got a thought?

I have used both MW 1.7-2.2 and HK2 (with LCD) for Bicopter purposes, and would say that MW is preferred, as it has better options for making changes specific to bicopters but either could be used. (the Minsoo kim kk2 seemed worthless though with its 3 pots.)
