Help with antennas ! And setup
Hey guys, ive being my last couple of week learning the fpv world, i just start doing my hexa f550 for FPV this is what i have so far.
Inmersionrc vtx 5.8ghz 600mw
Inmersion duo v3 vrx (its in RMA because DOA) inmersionrc uno on my way meantime
Ready made rc 10.1" monitor
DJI NAZA iOSD mini
Gopro black 3
Tarot gimbal t2D
rubber ducky antennas
So what good antennas should i get?
What about the inmersionrc spironet 5.8ghz vtx/vrx combo?
I cant use another osd/gps to get a antenna tracker since i already have naza iosd mini, (hopefully dji will give us naza user an antenna tracker update)
Any safety i need on my aircraft, filters, or whatever will make my system more reliable.....
Any known good article that i can read to learn more about fpv equipment and the safety and usage, how the antennas work what should i do and what should not,
Thanks guys please point me on a good direction. Im alone with this since is not a comon practice in my land.

The ImmersionRC Circularly Polarized SpiroNet antennas are without doubt the best replacement available for your stock whip antennas you are getting the range a quad requires and more, plus you will not lose signal suddenly, it will be more and more washed out before it goes away.
You are talking about antenna tracker, and for this setup i dont think you need it, that is my opinion.
But if you want to use AAT ,it can be done, because you just connect the osd that comes with the antenna tracker to a power source, and one cable to the sound input on your vtx, then the AAT can find you.
You dont need to put wideo thru this osd you just use the naza mini.
And its small (i have one) so its no problem to find a place on the hexa.
I think you rather should use your money on a pair of goggles, that was my best buy on fpv gadgets so far.
Its about he same price, and i can recomend the AIO from foxtechfpv.com.
You ask fore a tip on where to look and red about fpv, i recomend you use this forum, and just look around in here, and do you ask a question, someone will reply in 99% of the times you ask.
Good luck fpv`n around.

Thanks, i already got the spiroNET and as you said, i dont loose without telling me first by fading the image, i also got the fatshark attitud sd awesome goggles,.
I have a question for you, im doing about 600m i can go far more than 600m no problem with steady image, my issue when im returning im loosing video when moving forward with the craft pointing at home, i have the antena in the back of the hexa so i think the aircraft itself is blocking the signal when at forward attitud,
Where is the best place to put the antena? Im using a 90degrees adapter <-- this is a bad idea?

In my case with a dji f450 with clowerleaf, i put my clowerleaf antenna under my quad pointing down, i can do it because i have a high landing gear and then i get realy good signal no matter what im doing to the quad going away,or comming home towards me exept going directly above me high.
As off range i think you easely can double the 600m up to 1.2km, i use a foxtechfpv 2.4ghz 500mw vtx, fpv cam from securitycam2000 (dont like fpv`n thru my gopro just for recording)tarot T2d gimbal with gopro 3, 3s 3000mah battery nova osd modified and landing gear, and i go as far as 2km away before returning home, have not tried a long range trip yet, but fore that i have my skywalker 1900 :-)
About the 90 degrees conector that is no problem.
