CZ wing bolt holes elongated?
Recently while at a float fly several Carbon Z owners were discussing an issue with the elongation of the wing bolt holes.
I have corrected the problem on my CZ by grinding down brass servo grommet bushings to the same thickness as the wing attachment tabs and inserting and gluing them in the holes.
This corrected the loose condition of the wing and will prevent the plastic holes from being eroded in the future.
I used a pair of 5” hemostats as a thickness gauge while grinding.
