gy401 on 90 size heli

Does anyone fly their 90 size heli with gy401? Why should I care for gy611?

Thanks

if your not doing backwards or travelling piro moves then the 401 is plenty

I agree with Ade.

The 401/9254 combo will do very well in any heli for most flying.

The only area of flight where the 611 is noticeably more efficient is in the more extreme piro maneuvers that are traveling (forward or backwards) and that you wish to have a constant rate of piro throughout.

611 isnt perfect in that respect either... its starting to show its age. i have been playing with the spartan DS760 and its showing distinct improvement over the 611

I have just switched from a 401 to a 611 on my 90. The 401 will work fine until you really start pushing it. The 611 feels more solid now. Also I can tell a difference when it is windy out.

Having tryed them both the 401 works fine. But if you plan on really pushing the heli and learning new tricks go with the 611 and forget about the tail.

I have been looking for a new gyro where can I get a Spartan DS760?

Will it work with a S9256 or the new BLS251 servo (narrow pulse) ?

OK, I found out that it does work with all servos. Now I need to find some place that has them in stock.
