Launch SS Normand's maiden voyage today since the last in 1971 and first in 1958.
SS Normand (2 min 1 sec)

Rebuilt both 6 volt engines, fabricated new rudders and steering controls, upgraded to a 4 channel operating two ESCs for independent engine control, 7.2 Lit battery. Due to the weight being substantially less then original design, I added a large piece of steel that also acts as a heat sink. I froze it and placed it under the battery thus keeping the cabin control room air conditioned! Not sure if it matters yet I thought i was a great improvement. Sending a video to my dad, Normand, who built this the year my mom was pregnant with me. Too funny. He turned 87 last month.
This winter I will have to work on the paint and woodtrim.
Thank you to the RC Boat group for all your advice.
