Help!
Hk 250 spinning out of control

My HK 250 that i just got set up just spins on the ground. As soon as i start spooling the Heli up it starts to spin uncontroabbly on the ground to the point it almost tips its self over. I cant stop the spinning by adding any rudder or increasing the head spead. HELP Please

You more than likely have the gyro reversed.

Lettuce C hear:
Are the mains spinning clockwise looking down onto the HK?

Is the tail rotor spinning CCW when looking at it from the right side of the HK?

can you tell us what brand name and model tail rudder servo and gyro use. Do you configure and setup gyro for tail rudder servo.

actually, you may do few test to see if your tail servo and gyro are working proeprly. I suggest you disconnect motor wiring from ESC before doing test, safety.

1. Bypass gyro, connect tail servo to rx rudder channel directly. Apply left rudder stick and see if tail servo and slider respond. then apply right rudder stick and see if tail servo and slider move in opposite direction.

2. hook up your gyro as per wirng instruction. I assumed what you said, main rotor turn clockwise view from top and tail rotot turn ccw view from side, in front of tail rotor. Assume you set gyro in HH mode.
a. rotate heli head to right, your tail slider should move in and tail rotor blade leading edges deflect toward boom.
b. rotate heli head to left, tail slider should move out and tail rotor blade leading edges deflect away from boom.

3. check if you hook belt in reverse.

Then let's find out result and see what brand name and model of gyro and tail servo you use.

Are you moving the tail servo backwards or forwards to slow the spin. Which way is the spin cw or ccw? Adjusting the tail is a headache, I made kind of a spindle that I strap my heli to, to kinda get it into the ball-park, it is a BIG help, being that 250s are very sensitive the set-up. Also make sure your blades are balanced and tracked, plus allow ten minutes before flying to let your gyro adjust to temperature; mine's did the same thing.
hope this helps
