DJI F450 Naza

Hi,

I looked into buying a multi rotor and decided to buy the DJI F450, I also bought a naza controller, 3S 5000Mah Lipo and turnigy 9x transmitter. This is my first multicopter but I have had years of experience with rc electric cars. Just wondering if anyone has any tips of advice for setup/building?

buy the GPS!!! it will save ur ass... lol. it saved me a few times and im sure it wil many more.

DO NOT USE THE STOCK DJI PROPS!!!!!!!!!!
The will fail , use APC for about 3 bucks each or best is Graupners for about 11 each but can be hard to find.

Been using the stock props for weeks and weeks. I fly aggressively and I fly like 6 packs a day. Still using the original props.

Rc car experience won't really help you much with a quadcopter, I've had nitro and electric cars for 5+ years. I'm not sure how many times people say on here but always practice with a small cheap quad first like a blade MQX, it will pay for itself in how many crashes it will save you from learning from it.
